The Pinnacle Award, given through Successful Meeting Magazines, recognized Branson as chosen and reviewed by meeting planners for their commitment to hospitality excellence.  The Pinnacle Awards significance lies in the first-hand feedback from meeting planners who have shared their experiences with the publication.  Rated on a ten-point scale in four different areas, the entire staff earned the award for going above and beyond to impress the clientele of meeting event, convention and incentive planners with an unwavering commitment to hospitality and services.

Captures Prestigious “Pinnacle Award”
 

BRANSON, MO (June 2009) – Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa & Convention Center in Branson, Missouri, has captured the prestigious “Pinnacle Award” from Successful Meetings mChateau on the Lakeagazine. A plaque commemorating the award will bepresented to Stephen Marshall, vice president and general manager of the AAA Four-Diamond resort, which stands on a beautiful Ozark mountaintop overlooking scenic Table Rock Lake. The 301-room resort boasts one of the largest convention centers in Southwest Missouri, with 43,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, and the ability to host groups from 10 to 3,000. 

Considered one of the most prestigious awards in the meetings industry, the “Pinnacle Award” is given only to those hotels and resorts that represent the highest standards of excellence. The award is determined by votes from corporate and association meeting planners. Selections were based on: overall service, meeting rooms and equipment, recreation facilities, quality of food and beverage, exhibit space, accessibility and social consciousness. The hotel and resort recipients of the award will be featured in the August 2009 issue of the magazine.

The resort’s Chateau on the Lake Marina, open most of the year, offers more water sports activities than any other resort in the Midwest. Offerings at the full-service marina include an array of watercraft rentals, which includes ski boats, fishing boats, waverunners, catamarans, paddle boats, sea kayaks, and canoes. Parasailing, guided fishing excursions, scuba diving, and snorkeling are among the many other available options. With 850 miles of pristine shoreline and 80 miles of crystal blue water, Table Rock Lake is a perfect water playground for groups. 

Additional recreational offerings at Chateau on the Lake include a 24-hour fitness center, two lighted tennis courts, a year-round indoor pool, an outdoor (seasonal) pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, nature and biking trails, the 54-seat Sassafras Movie Theater, Crawdaddies Kids Club, and full-service concierge.
