If you are a site selection decision-maker for your organization’s events – and if it has been more than five years since you have visited Branson – we cordially extend this invitation to you and a guest to join us for a fun and informative visit to the Ozarks.

Each of our FAMs begin either on a Thursday or Friday with an afternoon welcome reception and early dinner, followed by a sample of Branson’s famous live entertainment. The following day, we provide breakfast, lunch and dinner, several site tours of hotels, resorts, our new convention center plus local attractions. On the final day, enjoy a fabulous breakfast and a brief meeting planner round-table discussion.

Planners are encouraged to arrive early or to extend their stay, if possible. Make the most of your visit by taking advantage of a range of optional pre and post FAM activities.

We typically offer several FAMs per year:

"Fall In Love With Branson" FAM – held October 12-14, 2012

FAM Weekend Overview

Once we have received and processed your application/registration form you will receive a confirmation of your reservation with additional itinerary details. The FAM includes these complimentary meals: a opening day evening welcome reception, the following day breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the final day breakfast. A hotel room will be booked for two nights (Thursday and Friday) at one of our participating lodging properties. The guest room itself will be provided complimentary – however, should you have any incidental charges (such as: pay-for-view movies, room service, phone calls) these additional costs will be your responsibility. Gratuities for bell staff, house keepers or doormen will also be left up to each individual guest.

Your site visit will include site tours of several hotels, resorts, new convention center plus local attractions. Based on the information you have provided us here, we will do our best to select facilities that we feel are a good “fit” for your group and the types/sizes of events you plan. If you are able to send us sample agendas of previous events, that would be helpful. Please let us know if you are keen to see anything in particular – so that we ensure it is a part of your weekend. All meals will be taken together as a group.

You will receive an itinerary prior to your visit with your hotel confirmation information. You will be contacted by your BLACVB sales representative who will coordinate your shuttle service to/from the airport (if needed). A welcome packet of information will also be waiting at your hotel when you arrive and it will contain specific FAM instructions, maps, name badges, list of other attendees and so on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ground Transportation: If you are flying, round trip ground transportation will be provided complimentary for you and your guest to/from either the Springfield / Branson National Airport or the all new Branson Airport. Once in Branson, shuttle service will be provided for all scheduled functions.

What about bringing the kids? Branson is a very family-friendly destination. However, the activities that are planned as a part of these FAM are designed for adults only. If you would like to visit Branson with the whole family, we strongly encourage you to do so, but at a different time.

What should I pack to wear to these activities? Branson is very relaxed and we want you to feel comfortable and have fun. Casual attire is appropriate for all events! Don’t forget to bring a jacket or a sweater for the evenings and we suggest comfortable shoes because we’ll be doing some walking on the site tours.

What if I need to cancel? We would appreciate notice of your cancellation as soon as possible so that we may adjust staffing and meal counts and perhaps offer your place to another planner who may be on a waiting list.

What if we want or need some free time to explore Branson on our own or to see things that are not included in the FAM weekend? We would be happy to explore the possibility of extending your stay by adding the Thursday prior or Sunday following to your reservation. That would provide some personal time to fit in what ever extra activities may be of particular interest to you.
