College of the Ozarks Tour – See “Hard Work U” in ActionThe college provides step-on student guides to take your group on a 45-minute, free tour which includes: the Fruitcake and Jelly Kitchen – to see how those famous fruitcakes are made by hand by the students and get a sample. Next, visit the Grist Mill and see how the college grinds their own flour and cornmeal. Observe student workers doing weaving and basket making. Tour includes the beautiful College of the Ozarks Chapel and Point Lookout. If time permits, visitors can also visit the college’s Landscape Department to see what flowers are in bloom at the time.
